What’s On Your Minds?

Hi there!  It’s been quiet this Spring.  I’m wondering what’s on your minds.  It doesn’t have to be anything incredibly profound – or anything obviously spiritual.  I love finding the spiritual dimensions in things folks don’t think are spiritual!  Let me know what you are thinking these days…

About Pastor Craig

I'm a 54-year-old who lives in Los Angeles, CA with his black Labrador Retriever named Max. I'm an ordained clergy person in the United Church of Christ. My passions include spirituality, politics, and sports (Go Houston teams, go!). I use my blog to start conversations rather than merely spout my perspectives and opinions. I hope you'll post a question, comment, or observation for me to respond - so we can get the conversation started!

A number of my female friends have been discussing this new Pew study that suggests church attendance and affiliation is declining among women. I’ve noticed that the same seems to be true among organized atheist groups, though that’s anecdotal. Have you experienced this in your denomination? Do you have any thoughts on whether it’s really happening, why, and what it means for churches?

Pastor Craig– just thinking about your blog today– been quiet–
Well on my mind lately? Do you want the news version ? Or the life version–
NEWS– how we as humans man brings keep repeating history — with really no improvement–
How some think that because we share a bathroom this now permits predictors or perverts to prevail; when there was prevention before?? Umm no–
Personal ? If one of my children who is slightly on the “spectrum” will find true love– which I know someday he wants– I guess I want that for all of my children– just one has me more worried more.
