What’s on Your Mind?

Hi there.  It’s been a long since we’ve talked.  Those in the congregation know I’m away from church for two weeks – starting a Doctor of Ministry program at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley.  Nevertheless, I miss the conversations we have had in the past.  With that said, I’m wondering what’s on your mind as we start the new year.  As you know, my blog only works as a conversation: a conversation that’s started by YOU.  So feel free to drop me a line and – as P!nk might say – let’s get this conversation started!

About Pastor Craig

I'm a 51-year-old single, gay man who lives in Los Angeles, CA. My passion and vocation involve spirituality. I live with my Italian Greyhound Tupper and my passion for Houston sports. I'm looking to start wonderful conversations that spark spiritual growth in all of us!

I’ve really tried to connect the dots and find I cannot, Evangelical Christians overwhelmingly voted for Trump – why? Do you know what in the world the “attraction” was?

  2. How do you suggest softening the hardliners on any side of a touchy – and today that seems to be all of them ! – issue? I had a grandchild who identifies as transgender condemn all Republicans in one brush stroke for example.

Hi my Friend! So glad we are able to connect again– I have something on my mind– why, to me possibly, does “religion”– many religions, give a person permission, or seemingly, permission to judge, with perhaps n excuse to harm or ignore another human? Instead of bringing people together, I see religion bringing people apart– which is probably totally opposite of what is intended.
